Services, payments, and refunds.
These terms apply to services purchased from Dr. Sam Works. Please contact Sam to agree on the work before making a payment.
Confirm the work first
We confirm the service scope, availability, price, and delivery arrangements before payment. Submitting a request or making a payment does not automatically reserve an appointment. Any additional work requires your approval.
What the starting offers cover
- Remote Tech Help, $49: up to 30 minutes of remote help with one agreed issue. We confirm that the issue is suitable for a remote session first.
- Technology and Security Checkup, $99: a 45-minute remote review of agreed technology and security basics, followed by a short prioritized action list. Implementation and security testing are separate services.
- AI Productivity Session, $199: a 75-minute working session focused on one agreed workflow. Broader automation, production implementation, and software subscriptions are separate.
Onsite work, website projects, security baselines, and other projects are scoped and quoted individually. Quotes identify the deliverables, timing, travel arrangements, third-party costs, and any applicable taxes before payment. Website quotes also specify client-provided content and revision limits. Advertised prices are in US dollars.
Cancel before work starts
If you cancel before work starts, you receive a full refund. Contact Sam as soon as possible if you need to cancel or request a different appointment time. A new time is subject to availability.
After work has started
Refund requests for completed work are reviewed case by case. Contact Sam with your project reference and a description of the concern so we can review it together.
If Sam cancels
If Sam cancels before providing the service, you receive a full refund.
Payments toward agreed work
Use a customer-entered payment amount only for an amount already agreed with Sam, such as a project deposit or remaining balance. Include your project or quote reference. A partial payment does not by itself mean the full project balance is paid. If you receive a Stripe invoice, use its invoice payment link unless Sam gives you other instructions.
Card payments are handled on Stripe's hosted checkout. Do not send card details, passwords, or other sensitive information through our contact form or email. A payment confirmation is separate from confirmation of the service schedule and scope.
